SS Freshspring’s First Open Day of the Season Was a Success!
We’re excited to share that our first open day of the season at SS Freshspring was a fantastic success!
A big thank you to all the visitors who came to explore our historic steamship. We had 59 visitors, ranging from individuals to families, and we were thrilled to welcome so many new faces.
👨👩👧👦 Visitor Highlights:
Families and groups of all sizes, from single adults to larger family groups, attended.
Guests came from across the United Kingdom, including EX39, EX31, EX21, BS2, and PL9—demonstrating strong local and regional interest in SS Freshspring.
🚢 Activities:
Ship Visit: The highlight of the day was the chance to step aboard SS Freshspring and learn about its incredible history and preservation.
VR Experience: In addition to the ship tours, we also had a number of visitors join us for our immersive Virtual Reality (VR) experience, giving them a unique opportunity to experience SS Freshspring's past in an exciting new way!
We were so happy to see such interest in our historic ship and look forward to welcoming even more visitors throughout the season. Your support helps keep SS Freshspring alive for future generations, and we can’t wait to share more of her story with you!
